The project involves reorganizing the space occupied by a Chinese restaurant on the sixth floor of a building with expansive views of the coastline. The lounge area is geometrically connected to a semicircular bar, and behind it, there is a secondary dining area for 12 people and a private space for 18 that can either be integrated with or completely separated from the rest. Utility and service spaces have been centralized on both sides of the entrance hall. The kitchen, along with storage spaces, an office, and others, occupies the larger section, while both public and employee bathrooms are placed on the opposite side. To define the large circular space, four large fixed screens finished in wood and metal have been arranged in an undulating manner, serving as boundaries between the bar lounge and the dining area. The main dining area offers a range of seating options, including “bench,” “booth,” or freestanding tables, all designed to take advantage of the ocean views. On the side opposite to the views, a series of bamboo images against a background of natural stone are set at different depths, creating a sense of depth and dimension.
