Hotel Las Qolqas
10,000 m2
2018
On a 10,000 m2 area, 2 kilometers upstream along the Patacancha River from the center of the city of Ollantaytambo lies this idyllic spot, endowed with an irresistible beauty, the gentle murmur of the river, rich and ancient flora and fauna. Most notably, it borders on well-preserved Inca ruins. Our design operation when incorporating a hotel-lodge involved a careful analysis and balance to interfere as little as possible with nature. We set up 20 semi-permanent tents with all the amenities required by travelers, around a central module that houses a dining area, kitchen, lobby, and lounge spaces.
