Clinica Tezza is a 40 year old medical institution. Anticipating a long awaited healthcare system renovation in Peru, their board asked us to design a face lift and interiors renovation that would reflect their values. Our proposal, currently in early stages of development, seeks to place a second skin façade which by including a layer of stainless steel acts as a unifying element over an existing hard, solid and segmented front façade. The resultant geometry exposes he Cross principles of symmetry and aperture or welcoming. Likewise it includes symbols of the Order that administers the facility and we also extend our proposal to the urban limits by adding a drop off bay and a new perimeter fence.
